A Manawatu man awaiting sentencing on child porn charges says the images were accidentally downloaded while trying to ease his migraine pain.
While being questioned by Judge Les Atkins the man's doctor said that he did not believe his patient had used the images for sexual gratification. Instead the man, who cannot recognise facial expressions, used the images to relieve pain.
