Facebook blocks Women's Site

The above Facebook page (If breastfeeding offends you, put a blanket over YOUR head!)  has been banned on several occasions from on the basis that some pictures, taken of proud mother's feeding their children, is offensive. The webmaster's appealed the decision and won the right to start their page again. However, more recently, the account was banned on the basis that they were unable to verify pictures were of original content.

"We have removed or disabled access to the following content that you have posted on Facebook because we received a notice from a third party that the content infringes or otherwise violates their rights. We strongly encourage you to review the content you have posted to Facebook to make sure that you have not posted any other infringing content, as it is our policy to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers when appropriate."

I find it mind boggling that this particular site is being "bullied" by Facebook when there are far more seemingly offensive pages. Furthermore, I do not believe that breastfeeding a child is offensive and that in itself is the very reason why the web page was started - to counteract the belief that something as normal as feeding your child is offensive.

If you believe that Facebook has made a mistake in removing this content, then you can submit an appeal by filling out their automated form.
