Mike King - talking about addiction

Mike King, comedian and host for the Nutter's Club on RadioLive, is being interviewed on the Good Morning show talking about alcohol addiction and the effects this is having on New Zealand's youth. This comes in light of the new proposed Government changes to increase the age limit on driver's licence and to close all bars by 2am in an attempt to curb the high levels of youth drink driving and the subsequent fatalities.

"Alcohol is that lovely that lets us be the person we think everyone wants us to be.."

Mike initially went "cold turkey" on alcohol and cigarettes for three months until it became "too painful." He ended up seeing a psychologist and has never looked back. Mike has been sober for more than three years.
